Removing And Installing Loudspeaker Amplifier

NOTE: The loudspeaker is located behind the right rear side-panel lining.

WARNING: Risk of damage: Remove ignition key and switch off the audio system.

Removing Loudspeaker Amplifier
Remove side lining at rear right.







1. Undo the four fastening nuts and remove.







2. Grip connector "1" at the sides "a" and pull from the amplifier.
3. Actuate detent "a" on the optical waveguide plug "2" and disconnect the plug.
4. Press on the centre of plug "3", throw locking lever and disconnect plug.
5. Lift amplifier up and out.

Installing Loudspeaker Amplifier







1. Position amplifier on retaining bracket, insert plug "3" and throw locking lever until the plug is felt to engage.
2. Insert optical waveguide "2" and plug "1" until it is felt to engage.







3. Screw on the four fastening nuts. Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.).

Install side lining at rear.
