Removing and Installing Front Loudspeakers (Door)



Removing And Installing The Front Loudspeakers

WARNING: Risk of destruction of electrical and electronic components: Before removing the loudspeakers, switch off the ignition, remove the ignition key and switch off the radio system.

Removing Front Loudspeakers
Remove the left or right door trim panel.

Bose low-pitch loudspeaker







1. Remove the three fastening screws holding the cover "1".
2. Press connectors "2" together and pull plug out.







3. Pull the plug retaining bracket "3" apart and pull out the plug "3".
4. Remove the four fastening screws and remove the loudspeaker "4".

Bose middle-pitch loudspeaker







1. Remove the three fastening screws from the loudspeaker cover in the door panel.
2. Press the electrical plug connection together and disconnect.







3. Remove the two fastening screws from the loudspeaker cover and remove the loudspeaker.

Installing Front Loudspeakers

1. Position the loudspeaker "4" and secure with the four fastening screws. Refer to 'Tightening torques'
2. Slide the plug mount "3" in locking mechanism on the holder until the holder clicks into place.







3. Insert the connector "2" until it engages.
4. Mount the cover "1" and secure with the three fastening screws. Refer to 'Tightening torques'

Bose middle-pitch loudspeaker







1. Position the loudspeaker on the cover and secure it with the two fastening screws. Refer to 'Tightening torques'







2. Position the cover with loudspeaker on the door trim panel and secure it with the three fastening screws. Refer to 'Tightening torques'
3. Connect the electrical plug, pressing on until it audibly clicks into place.
