Concern:
Retrofitting Off-Road Navigation Module installation instructions. Only for vehicles with PCM2 (I No. PF1) and software version as of 08/2003.
Information:
Off-road navigation is an optional module for the PCM2. After installation the PCM2 must first be "enabled". After successful enabling, displayed in the "Navi" menu of the PCM2 by an additional "Off-Road" point (see Figure 001), the following functions are available: altitude information, wheel position display, compass display, Way Point-Navigation as well as backtracking (along a previously driven route).
After the module has been ordered thought the parts department, entering of the part and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in SAP, the code for enabling will be displayed in IPAS when the VIN is entered.
