Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair

Removing and installing guide for oil dipstick





1. Remove throttle body cover. Pull the cover vertically upwards.
2. Remove Y intake fitting.





3. Loosen the 2 fastening screws.
4. Pull out the oil dipstick.
5. Pull guide tube out of the oil pan.
6. Replace O-ring.
7. Connect guide tube to the oil pan.
8. Tighten the 2 fastening screws. To do this, first put both into position and then tighten the upper fastening screw to 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.) and then tighten the lower fastening screw to 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lbs.).
9. Install Y pipe again.





10. Reinstall the throttle body cover. To do this, press the 4 rubber elements on the ball head.
11. Fill and bleed the cooler circuit.
