Air Conditioner



Removing and Installing Servo Motor

-B, C- servo motors







NOTE:
- -B- The outer left air conditioning - passenger servo motor is located in the left air conditioning box.
- -C- The centre left air conditioning - passenger servo motor is located in the left air conditioning box.
- Before starting work turn off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

Removing Servomotor
- Remove the trim from under the dashboard on the left.
- Unclip the instrument panel cover on the left and right.
- Remove control unit for Kessy or remove control unit for immobilizer.
- Remove network control unit.
- Remove relay carrier. Remove support from relay carrier.







1. Unscrew the fastening screws on the retainer plate with the motors -D, E-.
2. Press the electrical connector -2- -a- and remove the connector.
3. Withdraw retainer plate with the motors -D, E- downwards out of the guide.







4. Unscrew the two fastening screws -1- on the upper retainer plate with the servo motors -A, B, C-.
5. Press connector -2- -a- and separate plug connection.
6. Pull retainer plate out downwards.

Outer left air conditioning - passenger servo motor







7. Unscrew fastening screws -A- and remove servo motor.

Centre left air conditioning - passenger servo motor







8. Unscrew fastening screws -A- and remove servo motor.

Installing Servomotor
1. Position servo motor on the retainer plate and screw in place with the fastening screws -B-. Refer to tightening torques.

2. Move the servo motors with the Porsche System Tester to the service setting. The drives must be parallel to the guides -Z-.
3. Connect the electrical plug connections to the servo motors.

NOTE:
- Switch on ignition and activate with the Porsche System Tester in the Climatronic, menu actuator, menu service setting.
- Alternatively the servo motors can also be fed with 12 volts until they reach the correct position. The wiring diagram must always be referred to in this case.

4. Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
5. Press connector again and separate plug connection.







6. Insert retainer plate with the three servo motors from underneath into the guides on the air conditioning box as far as the stop.

NOTE: Make sure that the servo motor drivers are inserted in the mounting points.







7. Connect electrical plug connection -2- until the connector engages firmly.
8. Screw in both fastening screws -1-. Refer to tightening torques.







9. Move the servo motors with the Porsche System Tester to the service setting. The drives must be parallel to the guides -Z-.
10. Connect the electrical plug connections to the servo motors.

NOTE:
- Switch on ignition and activate with the Porsche System Tester in the Climatronic, menu actuator, menu service setting.
- Alternatively the servo motors can also be fed with 12 volts until they reach the correct position. The wiring diagram must always be referred to in this case.

11. Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.
12. Press connector again and separate plug connection.







13. Insert retainer plate with the two servo motors from underneath into the guides on the air conditioning box as far as the stop.

NOTE: Make sure that the servo motor drivers are inserted in the mounting points.







14. Connect electrical plug connection -2- until the connector engages firmly.
15. Screw in both fastening screws -1-. Refer to tightening torques.

- Install relay carrier. Install support on relay carrier.
- Install network control unit.
- Install control unit for Kessy or remove control unit for immobilizer.
- Clip on the instrument panel cover on the left and right.
- Install the trim under the instrument panel.

Tightening Torques
