Auxiliary Air Conditioning System

Removing and Installing Servo Motors







Removing Servo Motor On Auxiliary Air-Conditioning Unit
- Remove the side lining at rear.







1. Press together the air duct from above and pull out of the air-conditioning unit-arrow-.

NOTE: Only when removing the left servo motor.







2. Unscrew the fastening screws -1- and tilt the auxiliary air-conditioning unit inwards on the top side.







3. Release connector -arrow A- and pull out -arrow B-.







4. Unscrew the fastening screws -2- and pull the servo motor from the air flow flap -arrow-.

Installing Servo Motor On Auxiliary Air-Conditioning Unit







1. Push the servo motor onto the shaft of the air flow flap -arrow A-.
2. Twist the servo motor with the air flap into the fastening position -B arrows- and screw down with the fastening screws -2-. Refer to tightening torques.







3. Press in plug -arrow A- until locking tab -B- is felt to engage.

NOTE: Only when installing the left servo motor.







4. Tilt in the auxiliary air-conditioning unit on the top side -arrow- and screw down with the fastening screws -1-.







5. Push the air duct into the auxiliary air-conditioning unit -arrow- until the air duct is felt to engage.

- Mount the side lining at rear.

Removing Servo Motor On Central Vents







- Remove centre console.







1. Unlock the plug -A arrows- and pull it out -B arrows-.
2. Unscrew the fastening screws -2- and pull out the servo motor -arrow C-.

Installing Servo Motor On Central Vents







1. Push servo motor onto the air flap -arrow A- and turn to the fastening position.
2. Screw down the servo motor with the fastening screws -2-. Refer to tightening torques.
3. Push in plug -arrow B- until the locking tab -C- can be felt to engage.

- Install centre console.

Removing Servo Motor For Footwell/B-pillar Vents







- Remove front seat.
- Remove centre console.







1. Fold up the carpeted floor -arrow A-.
2. Release plug -arrow B- and pull it off -arrow C-.
3. Unscrew the fastening screws -2- and pull out the servo motor -arrow D-.

Installing Servo Motor For Footwell/B-pillar Vents







1. Push servo motor onto the air flap -arrow A- and turn to the fastening position.
2. Screw down the servo motor with the fastening screws -2-. Refer to tightening torques.
3. Push in plug -arrow B- until the locking tab -C- can be felt to engage.
4. Fold back carpeted floor -arrow D-.

- Install centre console.
- Install front seat.
