Removing Cigarette Lighter

Front cigarette lighter

NOTE: The front cigarette lighter can only be replaced together with the ashtray.







1. Open the ashtray and remove the two fastening screws.
2. Remove the ashtray completely.







3. Remove the plug connector from the holder, press in "a" and disconnect the electrical plug.

Rear cigarette lighter







1. Open the cupholder and remove completely beyond the stop.







2. Open the rear cigarette lighter cover.
3. Reach through the cupholder compartment and press out the cigarette lighter from the rear.
4. Pull the cigarette lighter out, press the electrical plug connection "a" and disconnect the plug.

Installing Cigarette Lighter

Front cigarette lighter







1. Connect the plug, pressing on until the plug audibly clicks into place.
2. Connect the electrical plug on the ashtray.







3. Insert the ashtray in the center console and secure with the fastening screws. Tightening torque 1.4 Nm (1 ftlb.).

Rear cigarette lighter







1. Connect the electrical plug, pressing on until it audibly clicks into place.
2. Insert the cigarette lighter to the stop and close the cover.







3. Slide the cupholder back in the console to the stop.
