Dome Lamp Bulb: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Bulb For Interior Light







1 "B" Interior light in the roof console.
2 "G" Interior light in the front door.
3 "J" Interior light in the rear door.

Removing Bulb For Interior Light
Switch the ignition off and remove ignition key.

1. Use a plastic spatula or screwdriver to pry out the light cover.







"B" Remove interior light in the roof console.







- Pull the middle bulb out.







"G" Interior light in the front and rear door.







2. Remove light, press connector together "a" and remove.







3. Use a screwdriver carefully to lever down the 4 locking elements on the sheet metal cover.







4. Pull the bulb from the holder.

Installing Bulb For Interior Light
1. Insert bulb fully in the holder.







"B" Install interior light in the roof console.







- Position the cover for the lights and press into place. Ensure the cover is fitted securely.







Interior light in the front and rear door.

2. Insert bulb in the holder.







3. Position the sheet metal cover and press in place. Ensure that all 4 locking elements engage properly and that the sheet metal cover is not deformed.







4. Connect the plug, pressing on until the plug audibly clicks into place.
5. Insert the light in the opening and press in place. Ensure the light is fitted securely.
