Installing And Removing Socket







Removing Socket

Passenger socket
Remove the trim from under the dashboard.







1. Press the electrical plug connection "a" and disconnect the plug.
2. Open the cover of the socket and press the socket out "arrow".

Luggage compartment socket
1. Remove the side panel cover at the left or right.







2. Press the electrical plug connection "a" and disconnect the plug.







3. Pull the trim towards the front and use an open-ended wrench 30 to hold the fastening nut behind the trim tight and screw the socket out.

NOTE: Ensure that the fastening nut does not fall out behind the trim.

4. Remove the open-ended wrench and hold the fastening nut with the hand.
5. Screw out the socket from the trim. Remove the fastening nut.

Installing Socket

Passenger socket







1. Open the socket cover and insert the socket as far as possible.
2. Connect the electrical plug, pressing on until it audibly clicks into place.

Install the trim under the dashboard.

Luggage compartment socket







1. Feed the electrical lines through the trim and slide the fastening nut behind the trim over the electrical lines.
2. Hold the fastening nut with an open-ended wrench and twist the sockets in up to the stop "arrow".







3. Connect the electrical plug, pressing on until the plug audibly clicks into place.
4. Mount the side panel cover in place at the left or right.
