Removing Relay Carrier In Radiator Tank E-box
1. Remove ignition key. Disconnect the battery and cover battery terminal.
2. Move bonnet to service position.
3. Remove wiper arms.
4. Remove cowl panel cover.
5. Remove left cover and rear cover in engine compartment.
6. Remove front left radiator tank.







7. Unscrew the fastening screws "1" and remove the lid "arrows".







8. Unclip the wiring harness "arrow".







9. Disconnect the plugs "arrows A" and remove the two wiring harnesses from the holder "arrows B".







10. Pull the relay carrier out and up "arrows".







11. Unscrew the fastening screws "2".







12. Unlock relay carrier "arrows A" and pull it out and up "arrow B".
13. Release fuse carrier "arrows C" and pull it out and up "arrow D".







14. Unscrew the fastening screw below the fuse carrier "A".
15. Release sockets "B" and push them out and down "C".
16. Remove upper housing half.
17. Set the wiring harnesses to one side and pull out the lower housing half in an upward direction from the holder and remove it.

Installing Relay Carrier In Radiator Tank E-box







1. Press the bottom half of the housing into the retaining pins "arrow" until the rubber mounts engage audibly in the retaining pins.







2. Press the sockets from below into the top half of the housing "arrows 1 - 6" refer to 'Socket identification' until the locking tabs engage audibly.







3. Push the fuse carrier and relay carrier through the top half of the housing.
4. Insert the two rubber sleeves in the bottom half of the housing "arrows".
5. Place the top half of the housing on top of the lower half. When doing so, ensure that no lines become trapped between the two halves.
6. Screw together both housing halves with the fastening screws "2".







7. Press the fuse carrier into the top half of the housing "arrow A" until the locking tabs "B" engage audibly.
8. Press both relay carriers into the top half of the housing "arrow C" until the locking tabs engage audibly "D".







9. Clip in the wiring harness "arrow".







10. Connect the red plug connection "arrow A" until the locking tabs engage audibly "B".







11. Position the red plug connection under the right wiring harness "A".
12. Position both wiring harnesses with the rubber sleeves in the housing "arrow B".
13. Connect the plugs "arrows C" until the locking tabs engage audibly.







14. Fasten the lid with the fastening screws "arrows".
15. Remove front left radiator tank.
16. Install left cover and rear cover in engine compartment.
17. Install cowl panel cover.
18. Remove wiper arms.
19. Connect the battery.
