Removing Wiring Harness For Removable Trailer Hitch
- Remove rear right luggage compartment side-panel lining.
- Remove loudspeaker amplifier.
- Remove CD changer with holder.







1. Release connector "arrow A" and pull out "arrow B".







2. Cut tie-wraps "arrows".







3. Press out rubber sleeve "a" from the inside and pull the lead out through the opening "arrow".
4. Cut tie-wraps "b".







5. Open up the cover "arrow A", unscrew the fastening screws "1" and remove the socket.
6. Take the rubber sleeve "c" out of the holder.
7. Release carrier "arrows B" and pull away from the contact housing "e" together with the rubber seal "d" ("arrow C").







8. Push the rubber sleeve and contact housing up through the fastening flange "arrow" and remove the lead.

Installing Wiring Harness For Removable Trailer Hitch







1. Pull the plug and rubber sleeve down through the fastening flange "arrow".







2. Position the leads with new tie-wraps "b". Do not tighten the tie-wraps.







3. Attach the carrier to the contact housing "e" "arrow A" until the locking tabs engage audibly "arrows B".
4. Insert the carrier with the contact housing "e" into the socket.
5. Position the rubber sleeve "c" on the socket.
6. Position the socket with the rubber sleeve in installation position, then open up the socket "arrow C" and secure to the holder with the fastening screws "1".







7. Push the lead inwards "arrow" and press the rubber sleeve "a" in until it engages audibly.
8. Tighten tie-wraps "b".







9. Press in plug "arrow A" until locking tab "B" is felt to engage.







10. Secure lead with new tie-wraps "arrows".

- Install CD changer with holder.
- Install loudspeaker amplifier.
- Install rear right luggage compartment side-panel lining.
