Information:
The stainless-steel door entry guard is installed in the front-door entry area. When the locked door is opened, the Cayenne logo (made of electro-luminescence film) lights up. The logo lighting stays on for approx. 10 minutes when the door is open. When the door is closed, the illuminated door entry guard goes out (time light remains on after door is closed is dependent on the vehicle equipment).
Notes:
The retrofitting description refers to the left side of the vehicle. The right side is fitted in the same way

Risk of short-circuiting and fire - due to work on vehicle electrical system.
> The battery must always be disconnected and covered when working on the electrical system.
> Always route the electrical leads without tensile stress so that no chafing occurs and secure to existing wires/components with tie-wraps/insulating tape.

Damage in area of A-pillar and A-pillar trim - when installing the door entry guards.
> Cover or mask components in this area.
> Work (drilling or filing) in this area with great care.
