Removing and installing line for ATF cooling

Caution:
Emerging oil is harmful to the eyes.
Danger of scalding from hot ATF.
^ Wear personal protective equipment.






Overview

Removing line for ATF cooling
1. Remove engine guard.
2. Remove the front cardan shaft.
3. Remove engine carrier.
4. Place collecting pan underneath the vehicle.

Caution:
Emerging oil is harmful to the eyes.
Danger of scalding from hot ATF.
^ Wear personal protective equipment.






5. Unscrew fastening screw which fastens ATF line to the ATF thermostat and remove line.
6. Unscrew bolts for fastening ATF line to engine oil pan -2 and 3 in overview- and transmission -1 in overview- .
7. Remove ATF line.

Installing line for ATF cooling
1. Install ATF line.
2. Screw in bolts for fastening ATF line to engine oil pan -2 and 3 in overview- and transmission -1 in overview- .





3. Screw in fastening screw which fastens ATF line to ATF thermostat.
4. Install engine carrier.
5. Install the front cardan shaft.





6. Unscrew ATF control screw -A- and fill in ATF until a constant discharge is visible at the lifting tube.
7. Check and if necessary, top up the ATF.
8. Install engine guard.
