Removing and installing electrohydraulic control unitRemoving electrohydraulic control unit
1. Remove ATF pan.
2. Remove ATF filter.
3. Remove wiring harness in transmission.
4. Remove electrohydraulic control unit. To do this, unscrew fastening screws and take out the control unit.
Installing electrohydraulic control unit
1. Install electrohydraulic control unit. To do this, screw in fastening screws.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ft. lbs.) + 90° torque angle
2. Install wiring harness in transmission.
3. Install ATF filter.
4. Install ATF pan.
5. Unscrew ATF control screw -A- and fill in ATF until a constant discharge is visible at the lifting tube.
6. Screw in oil inspection plug -A- with new sealing ring.
Tightening torque: 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.)
7. Check and if necessary, top up the ATF.
Tightening torques
