Rear Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Removing Rear Power Window Motor
Remove rear door trim panel.

NOTE: When removing the door trim, the connector -6- on the power window motor is disconnected.







1. Unscrew the three fastening screws -1- from the cover -2- and remove the cover.







2. Unscrew the three fastening screws -3- from the power window motor -7-.
3. Press down the connector latch -4, 5- and pull out the connector.







4. Pull power window motor out of the gearing.

Installing Rear Power Window Motor







1. Position power window motor and insert in the gearing.







2. Attach connectors -4, 5- to the power window motor -7- until they engage firmly.
3. Screw in and tighten the fastening screws -3-.







4. Place cover -2-, position and tighten with the fastening screws -1-.

Install rear door trim panel.
