Removing And Installing Lid For Tray

Preliminary work

INFORMATION: Only when removing lid for inner tray.

Remove centre console. Refer to Removing and installing centre console.

Removing lid for tray

Removing extension for centre console

1. Remove extension.
1.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and take extension -2- out of the centre console.







Removing lid for tray

1. Remove lid for outer tray.
1.1. Open lid for tray.
1.2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- and remove lid for outer tray -2-.







2. Remove lid for inner tray.
2.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.
2.2. Push retaining pin -2- through -Arrow A- and remove belt strap and retaining pin -3- (-Arrow B-).
2.3. Remove lid for inner tray -4-.







3. Remove hinge.
3.1. Move axle -1- in -direction of arrow- and take off hinge -2-.
3.2. Disengage spring -3-.







Installing lid for tray

1. Fit hinge.
1.1. Engage spring -3-.
1.2. Position hinge -2-, push axle -1- through hinge and spring -3-.







2. Install lid for inner tray.
2.1. Position lid for inner tray -4- and close it.
2.2. Push belt strap and retaining pin -3- through -Arrow A-, and push retaining pin -2- through hinge and belt strap -Arrow B-.
2.3. Position spring and secure lid for inner tray -4- with the fastening screws -1-.







3. Install lid for outer tray.
3.1. Open lid for inner tray.
3.2. Position lid for outer tray -2- and secure with the fastening screws -1-.







Installing extension for centre console

1. Install extension.
1.1. Position extension -2- on the centre console and secure with the fastening screws -1-.







Subsequent work

INFORMATION: Only when removing lid for inner tray.

Install centre console. Refer to Removing and installing centre console.
