Removing And Installing C-pillar Trim






Removing C-pillar trim






1. Open convertible top.
2. Insert a plastic wedge under the C-pillar trim panel and press it out.






3. Check fastening clamps and replace them if necessary.






Installing C-pillar trim






1. Position C-pillar trim panel and press it in.






Adjusting C-pillar trim panel
- Check gap dimensions -A, B, C- and correct them if necessary.
- Gap dimension A: 4.8 mm+2.5 mm-1 mm
- Gap dimension B: 4.6 mm+2 mm
- Gap dimension C: 1.3 mm+2 mm-0.5 mm






- Adjust height of C-pillar trim panel -1- with respect to the roll-over protection system cover and convertible top by loosening the fastening screws -2-. Then tighten the fastening screws again.
- Insert a plastic wedge under the C-pillar trim panel and press it out.
- Adjust gap dimension of C-pillar trim panel with respect to the roll-over protection system cover and side trim panel by loosening the fastening screws -3-. Then tighten the fastening screws again.
- Position C-pillar trim panel and press it into the fastening clamps.
