918619 Removing And Installing Control Unit For Antenna

Preliminary work

Preliminary work - antenna control unit
Remove right-hand panel of centre console.

Removing antenna control unit

Install location:

1. Remove ignition key and switch off audio system.
2. Undo the velcro strip on the carpet underneath the centre console.

Velcro fastening on carpet:

3. Push a screwdriver under the control unit and lever it up at the front and rear.

Levering up control unit at both front and rear:

4. Release the electrical connectors -A- and pull them away from the antenna control unit.
5. Take out the control unit.

Installing control module for antenna

Installing antenna control unit

Releasing electrical connectors:

1. Press electrical connectors onto control module until they are felt to engage.

Installing control module:

2. Position control unit on body and secure it with retaining clips.
3. Draw the carpeting beneath the centre console together and secure with the velcro fastener.

Subsequent work

Install right-hand panel of centre console.
