Removing And Installing Inner Door Sill Trim

Removing inner door sill trim

Removing inner door sill trim (driver's side)







1. Take off plastic caps -1- and loosen the fastening screws -2- of the scuff plate -3-.







2. Lift scuff plate -1- using a plastic wedge and pull off upwards.







3. Checking fixing clips -2- on the underside of the scuff plate -1- and replacing if necessary
4. Releasing plug connection on actuating switch and take off scuff plate.







Removing inner door sill trim (passenger's side)







1. Remove lining mat from shelf.







2. Unscrew fastening screw -1- from scuff plate -2-.







3. Lift scuff plate using a plastic wedge and pull off upwards and remove.
4. Checking fixing clips -3- on the underside of the scuff plate and replacing if necessary

Installing inner door sill trim

Installing inner door sill trim (driver's side)







1. Lock plug connection on actuating switch.







2. Checking fixing clips -2- on the underside of the scuff plate -1- and replacing if necessary







3. Position scuff plate -1-, press in and engage.
4. Tighten fastening screws -2-. Tightening torque: 3.5 ftlb. ± 0.5 ftlb.







5. Seal bores of scuff plate -3- with plastic caps -1-.

Installing inner door sill trim (passenger's side)







1. Checking fixing clips -3- on the underside of the scuff plate -2- and replacing if necessary
2. Position scuff plate -2-, press in and engage.







3. Tighten fastening screw -1-. Tightening torque: 2 ftlb. ± 0.5 ftlb.
4. Insert lining mat in shelf.
