Removing And Installing Front Wiring Harness

Preliminary work

Remove front apron.

Removing front wiring harness












1. Release connectors on fog lights -Arrow A- and pull off -Arrow B-.







2. Release connectors from middle ParkAssist sensors -Arrow A- and pull them off -Arrow B-.







3. Release side ParkAssist sensors -Arrows A- and pull off -Arrow B-.
4. Release connectors from side ParkAssist sensors -Arrow C- and pull them off -Arrow D-.







5. Remove line from metal clips -Arrow-.







6. Lift locking hook -Arrow A- and open clip -Arrow B-.
7. Pull off plug together with clip from front spoiler -Arrow C-.

NOTE: Only for vehicles with headlight cleaning system







8. Cut tie-wrap -Arrow A- and remove wiring harness on right side -Arrow B-.

Installing front wiring harness







1. Insert wiring harness on right side in the front apron -Arrows A- and bring it into the installation position.
2. Push plugs onto middle ParkAssist sensors -Arrow B- until locking tabs -Arrow C- are felt to engage.







3. Push plugs onto side ParkAssist sensors -Arrow A- until locking tabs -Arrow B- are felt to engage.
4. Push side ParkAssist sensors into front apron -Arrow C- until locking tabs -Arrows D- are felt to engage.







5. Push connectors onto fog lights -Arrow A- until the locking tabs-Arrow B- are felt to engage.







6. Press wiring harness into metal clips -Arrow- until it is felt to engage.







7. Insert wiring harness into clip and press in the clip completely -Arrow A-.
8. Push plug together with clip into front apron -Arrow B-.

NOTE: Only for vehicles with headlight washer

9. Fasten wiring harness to hose of headlight washer using tie-wraps -Arrow-.

Subsequent work

Install front apron.
