702019 Removing And Installing Cover For Instrument Panel (Defroster Cover)

Preliminary work
Remove A-pillar trim panel.

Removing cover for instrument panel (defroster cover)






1. Insert plastic wedge under instrument panel cover (defroster cover) centre -1- and lever out in upward direction -arrow-.






2. Disconnect plug connection for sun sensor. Refer to Removing and installing sun sensor.

Removing cover for instrument panel (defroster cover) on right and left






1. Insert plastic wedge under instrument panel cover (defroster cover) left and right -4- and lever out of sheetmetal clips -5-.






Installing cover for instrument panel (defroster cover)






1. Check sheetmetal clips -5- for deformation; replace if necessary.






2. Clip cover for instrument panel (defroster cover) into place on left and right -4-.

Installing cover for centre instrument panel (defroster cover)






1. Lock plug connection for sun sensor. Refer to Removing and installing sun sensor.
2. Position cover for centre dashboard (defroster cover) -1- and clip in -arrow-.






Subsequent work

Reworking
Install A-pillar trim panel.
