Preliminary work

Move hood to service position. Refer to Hood in service position.

Removing hood compartment lid







1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- on the hood compartment lid -arrow-.







Installing hood compartment lid

1. Position hood compartment lid on the hinges and screw down slightly with the fastening nuts -1- (arrow -). Adjust the hood compartment lid to the contours of the side panel and rear lid and screw down the fastening nuts. Refer to Diagram - body gap dimensions. Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.).







Subsequent work

End service position. Refer to Hood in service position.
