Fan Stiff

Diagnostic conditions
- Time after the engine is started longer than 10 seconds
- Air conditioning on - or
- Engine temperature greater than 93 °C

Possible cause of fault
- Electromagnetic interference
- Fan 2 (small/to the left) sluggish
- Fan 1 (large/to the right) sluggish
- Both fans sluggish

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

WARNING:
Danger of injury.
The fans can start up at any time when the air conditioning is switched on and/or the engine is at operating temperature.
