Vehicle Type:
Cayman/Cayman S

Model Year:
As of 2006

Situation:
Subsequent enabling of extended navigation module for PCM

Restriction:
Only for vehicles with PCM with navigation module.

NOTE:
The extended navigation module is an optional module for the PCM2.1 and can be enabled by entering a code. When the extended navigation module is enabled successfully, an additional option "Off Road" appears in the PCM2.1 "Navi" menu. This allows automatic route recording and subsequent backtrace navigation (return journey on a previously travelled route) as well as navigation in non-digitally recorded areas using a compass and GPS.

After ordering, i.e. entering the Part No. and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in SAP, the enabling code should be displayed after one day once the VIN is entered in IPAS (Integrated Porsche Dealer Handling System),
