Installing

Installing automatic transmission

DANGER
If the supports are folded down, the vehicle will roll off the platform lift when it is lowered.
^ Ensure that the platform is prevented from lowering.
^ Remove supports before lowering.

1. Run in transmission and screw in fastening screws -1 to 7-.

Note: In order to install the right-hand transmission support with hydraulic mount, the automatic transmission must be pushed towards the left.

2. Install right transmission support with hydraulic mount.

3. Install left transmission support with hydraulic mount.

4. Remove transmission jack.

Assembly work

1. Insert coolant pipe with new O-ring in ATF cooler and screw in fastening screw.

2. Insert coolant pipe with new O-ring in ATF cooler and screw in fastening screw.

3. Install engine mount for exhaust system and tighten fastening screws between transmission and engine mount for exhaust system.

4. Remove hose clamp 3094 from coolant pipes (flow and return sides).

5. Screw in retaining screw between the transmission and the coolant pipe.

6. Connect the plug connection for the multi-function switch.

7. Plug in transmission socket plug and turn clockwise up to the stop.

8. Engage selector cable in support bracket and push onto ball journals.

9. Fit drive shafts on the transmission side. For this purpose, tighten six hexagon socket screws between the drive shaft and the transmission flange, respectively. Counter on the brake disc or activate the parking brake to avoid simultaneous turning.

10. Install cross member.

11. Screw in fastening screws between anti-roll bar and rear axle carrier side member.

12. Screw vent line onto the engine transport eyebolt.

13. Push vacuum pipe onto switch-over valve.
