Preliminary work
Remove main headlight switch.
Remove cover for instrument panel into place on left.
Remove top steering-column trim.
Remove left centre console cover.
Removing trim under dashboard on driver's side
1. Unscrew the fastening screws -1- and swivel the cover under the dashboard on the driver's side -2- downwards -Arrow A-.
Disconnecting the electrical plug connections
1. Release plug connections -1, 2, 3- and remove -Arrow A-.
Installing trim under dashboard on driver's side
1. Push on plug connections -1, 2, 3- -Arrows A-, until the locking tabs engage audibly.
Installing trim panel under dashboard on the driver's side
1. Insert trim panel under the dashboard -2- on the guides.
2. Swivel trim panel under the dashboard -2- upwards -Arrow A-.
3. Screw in -1- fastening screws.
Tightening torque : 1.5 ftlb.
Removing and installing cover under dashboard on passenger's side
Removing the trim panel under the dashboard on the passenger's side
1. Unclip trim panel under dashboard on passenger's side -1- using a plastic wedge on the retaining clips -2- and swivel outwards -Arrow A-.
2. Take off the trim panel under the dashboard on the passenger's side -1- to the rear -Arrow B-.
Installing the trim panel under the dashboard on the passenger's side
1. Insert the trim panel under the dashboard on the passenger's side -1- from above -Arrow A-.
2. Swivel trim panel under the dashboard on the passenger's side -1- downwards and press in -Arrow B-, until the retaining clips -2- engage audibly.
Subsequent work
Install left centre console cover.
Install top steering-column trim.
Install dashboard cover on left.
Install main headlight switch.
