Removing and Installing Front Luggage Compartment Trim Panel

Removing front luggage compartment trim panel

Removing front luggage compartment trim panel (luggage compartment pan)






NOTE: Only for USA/Canada version vehicles.

1. Remove front emergency release.
2. Release twist locks -1-, open up tool box -2- and remove it in an upward direction.






3. Unclip fixing clip -1- and screw off plastic nut -2- at the right and left.






4. Screw off plastic nut -1- at the right and left in direction of arrow.






5. Lift up the luggage compartment pan -1- and remove it.






Removing front luggage compartment trim panel (bulkhead)






1. Remove luggage compartment cover.
2. Release and remove electric plug connections on the navigation unit.
3. Release and remove electric connector for loudspeaker amplifier.

NOTE: Only for USA/Canada version vehicles.

4. Remove carbon canister.

NOTE: When removing the bulkhead trim panel, make sure not to damage any wires or plug connections.

5. Loosen bulkhead trim panel -1- in -direction of arrow A- and lift it up and off -Arrow B-.






Installing front luggage compartment trim panel

Installing front luggage compartment trim panel (bulkhead)
1. Insert bulkhead trim panel -1- (-Arrow A-) and align it -Arrow B-.






2. Route electric lines and plug connections.
3. Lock electric plug connections on the navigation unit.
4. Lock electric connector on loudspeaker amplifier.

NOTE: Only for USA/Canada version vehicles.

5. Install carbon canister.
6. Install luggage compartment cover.

Installing front luggage compartment trim panel (luggage compartment pan)
1. Insert and align luggage compartment pan -1-.






2. Screw on plastic nut -1- at the right and left in direction of arrow.






3. Press in fixing clip -1- and screw on plastic nut -2- at the right and left.






4. Insert tool box -2- into the guide pins in the luggage compartment floor, close the tool box and lock the twist locks -1-.






NOTE: Only for USA/Canada version vehicles.

5. Install front emergency release.
