The roof shape and roof control mechanisms in the 911 Targa 4/4S models require redesigned interior trim panels for the upper part of the windscreen frame, roof pillars, rear wall, rear seat-belt retractors and rear side trims.

Modified sun visors, which are adapted to the shape of the roof pillars, are used on the cowl panel frame. The linings on the side roof pillars are finished in interior colour.







The side guides for the glass sliding roof and the lift mechanism are lined with black textile trims. The sun blind is integrated into the sliding sunroof. The rear seat-belt retractors are located in the specific rear side trims directly under the roof pillars at the same height as the pointed rear side windows. The retractors have a plastic casing, in which an additional interior light has been fitted. The logo "911 Targa 4" or "911 Targa 4S" is affixed to the scuff plate trims on the new 911 Targa 4 models.
