Removing And Installing B-Pillar Trim Panel

Removing B-pillar trim panel







1. Lift up the coat hook bracket -1- from below with a plastic wedge and carefully pull it up and off.







2. Press seat belt height adjuster release -1- out of the fastening screw using a screwdriver.







3. Unscrew fastening screw -1- from the belt deflector -2-.







4. Unscrew fastening screw -3- and lift B-pillar trim panel -4- up and off.

Installing B-pillar trim panel

1. Fit grommet -5- on the locking lug of the B-pillar trim panel -4-.







2. Check fixing clip -6- for damage and replace it if necessary.
3. Fit B-pillar trim panel -4- at the bottom and secure at the top with the fastening screw -3-. Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1.0 ftlb.)
4. Position belt deflector -2- on the B-pillar and secure with the fastening screw -1-. Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)
5. Press pin of seat belt height adjuster release -1- into the fastening screw bore.







6. Fit coat hook bracket -1- from above and clip it in.
