Removing And Installing Sunroof Control Unit

Preliminary work

Preliminary work for sunroof control unit

Hold rear cover underneath at the sides and carefully pull it out of the clips in -direction of arrow-.







Removing sunroof control unit







INFORMATION: Pull out ignition key.

1. Unscrew the two fastening screws -1- and move control unit -2- first in direction -A- and then in direction -B- and set it down.







2. Move the slide on the electric connector in direction of arrow -C- and pull off connector -3- in direction -D-







3. Press the two connectors -4- together -E- and pull them off the control unit -F-. Fold locking lever -G- over and pull connector -5- off the control unit -H-.







Installing sunroof control unit

INFORMATION: Pull out ignition key.

1. Plug in connector -5- and fold locking lever over -G- until it engages. Plug in the two connectors -4- until they engage securely.







2. Plug in connector -3- and close the slide in direction -C-.







3. Push in the control unit -2- first in direction -B- and then in direction -A-. Tighten fastening screws -1-. Tightening torque: 5.6 Nm (4.0 ftlb.)







Subsequent work

Subsequent work for sunroof control unit

Position rear-wall lining and push it on in direction of arrow until the pegs of the cover clip in.
