Underbody Lining

The underbody lining was largely adopted from the 911 Carrera 4 (997) models. Compared with the 911 Turbo (996), the main features of the new underbody lining are two additional panel sections in the middle area next to the center tunnel. In addition the new 911 Turbo (997) is equipped with additional ventilation openings in the rear underbody lining for cooling the rear brake system and transmission.

The 4 ventilation openings at the front of the underbody lining for cooling the front axle final drive have been optimized.
