Removing And Installing Rear Wall Trim Panel

Technical values







Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for rear. Refer to Removing and installing cover for rear.
2. Remove rear roof trim panel. Refer to Removing and installing rear roof trim panel.

Removing rear wall trim panel

CAUTION: Danger of injury. Sharp-edged burrs on body and unit parts.
- Injuries from sharp edges on body and unit parts.
- Wear protective gloves when working in the area of sharp-edged body and unit parts.








1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-.







INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with subwoofer.

2. Remove subwoofer holder -2- at the left and right.
3. Lift control unit holder -3- up slightly.
4. Lift rear wall trim panel -1- at the front -Arrow A- and pull it sideways out of the side trim panel on the right -Arrow B-.







5. Carefully pull rear wall trim panel -1- forwards -Arrow C- and take it out of the side trim panel on the left -Arrow D-.

Installing rear wall trim panel







1. Position rear wall trim panel -1- sideways under the side trim panel at the left -Arrow A- and carefully guide it towards the rear -Arrow B-.







2. Insert rear wall trim panel -1- under the side trim panel -Arrow C- and then press it in at the front -Arrow D-.
3. Align control unit holder -3-.







INFORMATION: Only for vehicles with subwoofer.

4. Position subwoofer holder -2- and tighten the fastening nuts -1-. Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm (5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install rear roof trim panel. Refer to Removing and installing rear roof trim panel.
2. Install cover for rear. Refer to Removing and installing cover for rear.
