Removing And Installing Front Luggage Compartment Cover

Preliminary work

Remove luggage compartment light. Refer to Removing and installing luggage compartment light.

Removing luggage compartment cover







1. Unscrew plastic nut -1- (-Arrow A-) and loosen luggage-compartment lining on the left-hand side -2- (-Arrow B-).







2. Move eyelet -1- to the right -Arrow A- and remove it -Arrow B-.







3. Open navigation unit lid -Arrow-.







4. Unscrew fastening screws -1- on the luggage compartment cover -2-.
5. Remove luggage compartment cover -1- to the front.







6. Check support -1- and replace if necessary.

Installing luggage compartment cover

1. Position luggage compartment cover -1- in the luggage compartment.







2. Screw down luggage compartment cover -2- using the fastening screws -1-.







3. Close navigation unit lid -Arrow-.
4. Position eyelet -1- on the luggage compartment cover -Arrow A- and move it to the left -Arrow B-.







5. Insert luggage-compartment lining -2- (-Arrow A-) and secure with the plastic nut -1- (-Arrow B-).







6. Check to ensure that lid seal is installed correctly.

Subsequent work

Install luggage compartment light. Refer to Removing and installing luggage compartment light.
