Fog Lights

The fog lights in the front end are also a characteristic design element of the new 911 Turbo (997). High-quality light technology is used in the new 911 Turbo in order to achieve the desired light values. The familiar reflection technology from the 911 Carrera (997) models is replaced by projection technology on the new 911 Turbo.

NOTE: Both aerodynamics and air flow to the radiators had to be taken into account in design. The fog lights therefore have an extremely compact design.

Here, the light from the light source is not directed onto the road via a reflector and diffusing screen (reflection technology), but is projected onto the road surface via a reflector and lens (projection technology).
