Removing And Installing Front Direction Indicator Light

Preliminary work for front direction indicator light
Remove front apron.

Removing front direction indicator light







The direction indicator light can only be completely removed when the front apron is removed.







1. Disengage electric plug connection above the fog light, release plug connection -A- and disconnect it.







2. Unscrew the fastening screw -1- for the front direction indicator light.







3. Pull the outside of the direction indicator light forward -A- and then towards the outside -B- of the front apron.
4. Remove direction indicator light and wire harness from the front apron.

Installing front direction indicator light
1. Fit direction indicator light into the front apron from the front and route the wire harness over the fog light.







2. Push direction indicator light in the front apron to the inside -B- and press it onto the front apron at the outside -A-.

INFORMATION:
- There must be a Velcro fastener on the front apron, behind the front indicator light.
- This Velcro fastener increases the contact force of the direction indicator light. If this Velcro fastener is not fitted or is damaged, it must be fitted/replaced.







3. Secure direction indicator light with the fastening screw -1-.







4. Connect the plug connection for the direction indicator light over the fog light until the connector engages securely. Engage plug connection in the mounting point above the fog light.

Install front apron.
