Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair
Removing And Installing Accelerator Pedal
Information
The accelerator pedal is an electronic accelerator pedal unit without a mechanical accelerator cable. The electric printed circuit board, among other things, is integrated in the accelerator pedal unit. On vehicles with Tiptronic transmission, the accelerator pedal unit also features a spring-loaded aneroid diaphragm -3- for kickdown simulation. The integrated pedal stop obviates the need for a basic kickdown setting.
