Removing And Installing Throttle Housing

Preliminary work

1. Remove pressure pipe.
2. Remove air cleaner housing.

Removing throttle housing

1. Remove throttle housing.







1.1. Disconnect cable plug on throttle potentiometer and unclip cable.
1.2. Unscrew holder for throttle housing.
Screw off M6 nut on rubber mountings.

1.3. Unscrew screws -arrows- and remove throttle housing.

Installing throttle housing

1. Replace seal on central intake-air distributor.

INFORMATION: Always replace seal between the intake-air distributor and throttle housing.

2. Install throttle housing.







2.1. Fit throttle housing and screw in and tighten screws -arrows-
Pre-fit holder on throttle housing.
- Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2.2. Screw on and tighten holder for throttle housing.
- Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

2.3. Connect cable plug to throttle potentiometer. Insert cable into the clips.

Subsequent work

1. Install air cleaner housing.
2. Install pressure pipe.
