Removing And Installing Contact Switch For Glove Compartment Light

Preliminary work
Remove glove compartment.

Removing contact switch for glove compartment light

INFORMATION: The door switch for the glove compartment light is located on the rear of the glove compartment.












1. Release glove compartment light plug -Arrows a- and unplug.
2. Remove wiring harness on the mounting points on the glove compartment -Arrows-.







3. Release mounting points -Arrows a- and take out the door switch for the glove compartment light -1- and the connector socket -2-.

Installing contact switch for glove compartment light







1. Press the door switch for the glove compartment light -1- and the connector socket -2- in the mounting points, until they can be felt to engage.







2. Lay the wiring harness and press in the mounting points on the glove compartment -Arrows-
3. Insert the glove compartment light plug until it is felt to engage.

Subsequent work
Install glove compartment.
