When Replacing Engine: Install New Refrigerant Line

Situation:
Replacing engine
A fuel cooler on which the connection to the refrigerant line on the intake side is changed, is installed on engines whose engine numbers are higher than the number shown below. The refrigerant line has been adapted accordingly.
Identifying a modified fuel cooler:
The diameter of the adapter on the fuel cooler is 17.9 mm before and after the sealing ring (previously: in stages, 17.6 mm and 23.3 mm). The sealing ring is arranged the center (--> Figure 1 -Arrow-; detail A shows the previous design).
Action Required:
NOTE: Only complete engines with modified fuel coolers are available from our Parts Department. If a replacement engine is installed in a vehicle whose engine number is lower than the engine number shown below, the refrigerant line connected to the fuel cooler on the intake side must also be replaced.
The refrigerant line must be installed before the engine is installed.
