Preliminary work

1. Remove engine-transmission unit.

1. Pull off electric connector for reversing light switch.
2. Remove clutch slave cylinder.

3. Remove mount for exhaust system from transmission.

Removing accessories

1. Unscrew fastening nut of exterior shift.

2. Pull off exterior shift using Schremm 48-2 puller 00000 from shifting shaft.

3. Unscrew fastening screw between clutch slave cylinder and transmission and remove clutch slave cylinder.

4. Pull off electric connector for reversing light switch.

5. Remove mount for exhaust system from transmission.

Removing transmission

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1 to 7- and pull out transmission to the rear.

Removing transmission

1. Unscrew fastening screws -1 to 8- and pull out transmission to the rear.

Refitting transmission

Note: Before installing the transmission, clean splines of transmission input shaft and grease lightly, e.g. with Olista Longtime 3 EP.

1. Move transmission into position and screw in fastening screws -1 to 7-.

Refitting transmission

Fitting accessories

1. Fit mount for exhaust system on transmission.

Note: Before installing the clutch slave cylinder, apply grease Klueberplus S06-100 to its seat.

2. Insert clutch slave cylinder into transmission opening and screw in fastening screw.

3. Push on electric connector for reversing light switch.

Fitting accessories

1. Fit mount for exhaust system on transmission.

2. Push on electric connector for reverse gear switch.

Note: Before installing the clutch slave cylinder, apply grease Klueberplus S06-100 to its seat.

3. Insert clutch slave cylinder in transmission opening and screw in fastening screw.

4. Fit the external shift mechanism and tighten nut.

Subsequent work

1. Install engine-transmission unit.
