Front axle

The front axle concept of the Cayman is based on that of the Cayman S and was modified in the following areas to take into account the specific demands.

The number of turns of the truncated cone spring was adapted to the vehicle variant.

- Basic chassis spring rate: 27 N/mm (4 turns)
- PASM chassis spring rate: 33 N/mm (4 turns)

The springs have a colour coding which indicates the spring tolerance and the chassis version.

Anti-roll bar for standard chassis

The diameter of the anti-roll bar has been adapted to the vehicle's weight and driving dynamics.
