Removing rear lid seal

1. Open rear lid.
2. Pull off seal from the flanges at the corner pieces -A-, the side panels -B- and closing panel -C-.







3. Lift the seal up and off.







Installing rear lid seal

INFORMATION:
- Before replacing, check the existing seal for signs of damage (areas torn, crushed, etc.). If there are signs of damage, the seal must be replaced.
- The seal is pressed onto the flange without any additional sealants.

1. Position the seal from above.







2. Pre-position the seal and press onto the sheetmetal flange in this area.







3. Apply the seal evenly along the flange. Position and press the seal without any tension onto the flanges in the roof area -A-, to the side panel -B- and to the closing panel -C-.

INFORMATION: Pay particular attention to the areas near the tight roundings for correct installation; there must be no deformation or stretching.

4. Check whether installation is correct.
5. Close rear lid.
