Specifications for wrench sizes (a/f specifications) for screw heads are described as follows:
- Torx screws: (E.) for external Torx, (T.) for internal Torx.
- Hexagon-head bolts (internal and external hexagon): Wrench size (a/f)
1. Remove intake-air distributor for cylinder bank 4-6.

2. Remove secondary-air pump.
2.1. Release and pull off cable plug.
2.2. Unscrew three internal Torx screws (T40, M6 x 50) and remove the pump.
Removing oil-level sender
Information
Specifications for wrench sizes (a/f specifications) for screw heads are described as follows:
- Torx screws: (E.) for external Torx, (T.) for internal Torx.
- Hexagon-head bolts (internal and external hexagon): Wrench size (a/f)
1. Remove bracket for secondary-air pump.
1.1. Loosen secondary-air supply line by loosening and unscrewing the cap screw (M24) -1-.
1.2. Remove bracket -2- for secondary-air pump by unscrewing three internal Torx screws (T30, M6 x 20). Remove the bracket.
1.3. Release and pull off cable plug -3- for oil level sensor.

2. Loosen oil-level sender -1- using a crow foot wrench (a/f 19) -2-.
2.1. Unscrew the sender by hand (replace sealing ring during re-installation).

3. Replace seal -3- for secondary-air pump bracket.
Installing oil-level sender
Information
Specifications for wrench sizes (a/f specifications) for screw heads are described as follows:
- Torx screws: (E.) for external Torx, (T.) for internal Torx.
- Hexagon-head bolts (internal and external hexagon): Wrench size (a/f)
1. Fit oil-level sender -1- with a new sealing ring and tighten it.
Use an open socket-wrench insert or crow foot wrench -2- (a/f 19 mm) for fitting the sender.
=> Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)
1.1. Fit new seal -3- for secondary-air pump bracket.

2. Fit secondary-air pump bracket -2- with a new seal.
2.1. Connect cable plug for oil level sensor -3-.
2.2. Fit secondary-air line into connection piece on the bracket using a cap screw (M24) -1-.
2.3. Position bracket with seal and fit using three internal Torx screws (T30, M6 x 20).
2.4. Fit and screw in cap screw (M24).

3. Tighten threaded joint on bracket and line to the specified torque.
3.1. Secure bracket for secondary-air pump:
=> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
3.2. Secure secondary-air line to bracket:
=> Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

1. Install secondary-air pump.

1.2. Connect cable plug for secondary-air pump.
2. Install intake-air distributor 4-6.
