Removing And Installing Front Luggage Compartment Cover

Preliminary work

Remove luggage compartment light. Refer to Removing and installing luggage compartment light.

Removing luggage compartment cover







1. Unscrew plastic nut -1- (-Arrow A-) and loosen luggage-compartment lining on the left-hand side -2- (-Arrow B-).







2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- from the luggage compartment cover -2-.







3. Remove luggage compartment cover -1- to the front.







4. Check support -1- and replace if necessary.







Removing luggage compartment cover







1. Unscrew plastic nut -1- (-Arrow A-) and loosen luggage-compartment lining on the left-hand side -2- (-Arrow B-).







2. Unscrew fastening screws -1- from the luggage compartment cover -2-.







3. Remove luggage compartment cover -1- to the front.







4. Check support -1- and replace if necessary.







Installing front luggage compartment cover

Installing luggage compartment cover

1. Position luggage compartment cover -1- in the luggage compartment.







2. Screw down luggage compartment cover -2- using the fastening screws -1-.







3. Run in luggage-compartment lining -2- -arrow A- and fasten with the plastic nut -1- -arrow B-.







4. Check to ensure that lid seal is installed correctly.

Installing luggage compartment cover

1. Position luggage compartment cover -1- in the luggage compartment.







2. Screw down luggage compartment cover -2- using the fastening screws -1-.







3. Run in luggage-compartment lining -2- -arrow A- and fasten with the plastic nut -1- -arrow B-.







4. Check to ensure that lid seal is installed correctly.

Subsequent work

Install luggage compartment light. Refer to Removing and installing luggage compartment light.
