Removing And Installing Trim Panel For Seat Well

Technical values







Preliminary work

1. Fold front seats forward.
2. Remove rear backrest. Refer to Removing and installing rear backrest.
3. Remove rear side trim panel at left and right. Refer to Removing and installing rear side trim panel
4. Remove rear wall trim panel. Refer to Removing and installing trim panel for rear wall.
5. Remove rear belt locks at the right and left. Refer to Removing and installing rear belt lock.

Removing trim panel for seat well

Loosening seat belt and fitting

1. Lever off cap -1- with a screwdriver -arrow-.







2. Unscrew fastening screw -2-. Remove washer -3-, seat belt mount -4- and spacer sleeve -5-.

Removing bushing for rear backrest

1. Unscrew bushing for rear backrest -1- in -direction of arrow-.







Removing trim panel for seat well

1. Raise trim panel for seat well -1- starting at the rear -Arrows A-, fold over -Arrows B- and remove towards the front under the carpet -Arrows C-.







Installing trim panel for seat well

1. Position trim panel for seat well -1- under the carpet starting at the front -Arrows A-, insert it -Arrows B- and then align it.







Installing bushing for rear backrest

1. Screw in bushing for rear backrest -1- in -direction of arrow-.







Securing seat belt and fitting

INFORMATION: Ensure that belt strap can run properly.

1. Secure fastening screw -2-, washer -3-, seat belt with fitting -4- and spacer sleeve -5- on the body. Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) ± 10 %







2. Press cap -1- onto the fastening screw -2- (-arrow-).

Subsequent work

1. Install rear belt locks at the right and left. Refer to Removing and installing rear belt lock.
2. Install trim panel for rear wall Refer to Removing and installing trim panel for rear wall.
3. Install rear side trim panel at left and right. Refer to Removing and installing rear side trim panel.
4. Install rear backrest. Refer to Removing and installing rear backrest.
