Causes and remedial action
The connector housing for the wire harness in the transmission is leaking. As a result, ATF leaks into the external wire harness.

In the event of a verified complaint, replace the wire harness in the transmission.

Tools and materials
Seal for ATF pan
Wire harness in transmission

Preliminary work
1. Remove ATF pan.
2. Remove ATF filter.

Replacing wire harness in transmission
1. Replace wire harness in the transmission without the output shaft speed inductive pickup.

Subsequent work
1. Install ATF filter.
2. Install ATF pan.
3. Check and top off ATF: Establish test conditions without opening the cooler lines.
