Preliminary work
1. Remove front apron. => 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Removing"
2. Remove spray nozzle for headlight washer system. => 927219 Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight washer system - section on "Removing"
Removing front direction indicator light
CAUTION
Risk of short circuit.
-> Before removing the direction indicator light, remove ignition key and switch off light.
Installation position of front direction indicator light
1. Disconnect plug connections for front direction indicator light.
1.1. Release connectors for direction indicator light and parking light -1 and 2- ( -arrows A- ) and pull them off the front direction indicator light -3- ( -arrows B- ).
1.2. Unclip wire harness -4- ( -arrow C- ).

2. Remove front direction indicator light.
2.1. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.
2.2. Swivel out front direction indicator light -2- ( -arrow A- ) and remove it from the front apron -arrow B-.

Installing front direction indicator light
1. Install front direction indicator light.
1.1. Insert front direction indicator light -2- together with the fastening clip into the front apron -arrow A- and swivel it in -arrow B-.
1.2. Tighten fastening screws -2-.

2. Connect plug connections for front direction indicator light.
2.1. Clip in wire harness -4- ( -arrow A- ).
2.2. Connect connectors for the direction indicator light and parking light -1 and 2- to the front direction indicator light -3- ( -arrows B- ) until the connectors engage securely.

Subsequent work
1. Install spray nozzle for headlight washer system. => 927219 Removing and installing spray nozzle for headlight washer system - section on "Installing"
2. Install front apron. => 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "Installing"
