Fuel Tank Vent: Service and Repair

Preliminary work

1. Remove oil mist separator. -> 105519 Removing and installing oil mist separator on 4.8-litre DFI engines - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing tank vent

1. Disconnect fuel tank ventilation line -2- at the plenum panel bulkhead.

2. Unclip rear fuel tank ventilation line at the wire harness. -arrow-

3. Disconnect plug connections at the front and feed out the line.

Installing tank vent

1. Feed tank vent with line in past the intake-air distributor.

2. Clip in rear fuel tank ventilation line at the wire harness. -arrow-

3. Insert tank ventilation line -2- at the plenum panel bulkhead.

Subsequent work

1. Install oil mist separator. -> 105519 Removing and installing oil mist separator on 4.8-litre DFI engines - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
