1. Pull apart retaining tabs -arrows A- and remove sensor -1-.





Removing sensor

2. Press detent -arrow a- for connector -2- and pull connector off.

Installing sensor for ParkAssist

Information

If one or more sensors must be replaced or repainted:

- Follow the painting specifications in the Paint Manual.

Information

If one or more sensors must be replaced or repainted:

- Follow the painting specifications in the Paint Manual.

1. Push the connector -2- onto the sensor -1- until it engages securely.





Installing sensor

2. Insert sensor into the mounting point of the bumper until the retaining tabs on the sensor engage.

Subsequent work

Install the front or rear apron as required. => 631519 Removing and installing front apron - section on "installing" or => 635519 Removing and installing rear apron - section on "installing"
