Overview of relay carrier

WARNING

Risk of destruction of electrical and electronic components.

-> Before a relay is removed, the ignition must be switched off and the ignition key removed.

In its maximum equipment version, the Cayenne has four relay carriers. 2 relay carriers are located in the E-box in the radiator tank and 1 or 2 relay carriers (according to the I-No.) are located on the driver's side below the dashboard.

Relay carrier, plenum chamber E-box

Information

- Refer to the respective circuit diagram for the assignment of the relay carriers.

- The E-box is located in the plenum chamber, on left side in direction of travel.

- Remove the left cover of the plenum chamber.

Unscrew the four fastening screws on the cover and remove the cover.

Relay carrier, dashboard

Information

- Refer to the respective circuit diagram for the assignment of the relay carriers.

- The relay carriers are located below the dashboard, to the right, beside the steering wiring.

- Remove the left side trim from under the dashboard. => 702219 Removing and installing cover under dashboard - "Removing" section.

1. Open the latch on the relay carrier -arrows a- and pull downwards.

2. Pull out the relevant relay, replace if necessary.
3. Slide the relay carrier in the retaining bracket from below until the relay carrier perceptibly engages.
